Ukrainians were warned about the spread of false information regarding a massive breakthrough of Russian troops in the Sumy region. The Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) refuted these rumors.

This was reported in the Telegram of the Center for Countering Disinformation of the NSDC.

Information is being spread online about an alleged massive breakthrough of Russian troops at the border of the Sumy region. However, the Armed Forces of Ukraine refuted these rumors and stated that the situation remains under control.

According to the "Kursk" group of forces, no massive border breakthrough between the settlements of Novenke and Zhuravka has been recorded.

The enemy acts in small groups of a few individuals, attempting to establish themselves on Ukrainian territory and expand the combat zone.

"The Defence Forces of Ukraine effectively eliminate such groups. Trust only verified sources of information," noted the CCD.
