Zelenskyy: The number of injured due to the strike on Dobropillia has increased to 50 people

Last night, on March 8, 11 people were killed due to an attack on Dobropillia in the Donetsk region, and the number of injured has risen to 50. Among the deceased is an employee of the State Emergency Service.

This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his evening address.

“Today, during the day, work continued in the city of Dobropillia, Donetsk region, following a Russian strike. This was one of the most brutal strikes, a combined one. It was specifically calculated to cause maximum damage,” the president noted.

Zelenskyy recalled that Russian missiles and kamikaze drones attacked the central part of Dobropillia, where nine residential buildings, a shopping center, and shops were hit. As a result of the attack, 11 people died.

“Among the dead is an employee of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. The repeated strike occurred when rescuers began their work. 50 people were injured. All have been provided with necessary assistance. Among the injured are seven children, the youngest being a girl, 10 years old,” the Ukrainian leader reported.

Zelenskyy emphasized that the Russians “do not think about how to end the war but about how to manage to destroy and capture more while the world allows them to conduct this war.”
