Russian troops have captured the village of Kostyantynopil near Kurakhove

Ukrainian military lost control over the village of Kostyantynopil, located west of Kurakhove.

According to a Ukrainian soldier with the call sign "Muchnyi", Russian forces raised their flag in the western part of the locality, indicating full control over the village.

Kostyantynopil is located on the Kurakhove – Zaporizhzhya highway, on the western edge of the "pocket" formed after the occupiers’ advance in Andriivka (to the north) and in the south.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defence announced the capture of the village; however, the Ukrainian side did not confirm this information.
