In Jeddah, security guarantees for Ukraine will not be discussed, - Yermak

The head of the Ukrainian delegation, Andriy Yermak, stated that the issue of security guarantees for Ukraine is not planned to be discussed at the meeting with American representatives in Jeddah.

He noted that it is "very important," but at this stage, the main focus will be on discussing how to start a process that could lead to peace.

According to Yermak, Ukraine considers it important for discussions to focus on the most crucial points. This statement was made against the backdrop of reports from British media suggesting that the U.S. is unlikely to address the issue of security guarantees in negotiations with Kyiv.

The meeting in Jeddah envisions the continuation of diplomatic efforts that could shape the future of negotiations between Ukraine and the U.S.
