The US will pass on Ukraine’s consent for a 30-day truce to Russia, - Rubio

The USA will convey Ukraine’s consent to a 30-day ceasefire to Russia, Secretary of State Rubio announced.

«Ukraine has taken a positive step by agreeing to a ceasefire, and we hope the Russians will respond in kind. This is the best gesture of goodwill we can expect,» Rubio emphasized.

Meanwhile, Trump’s National Security Advisor Waltz reported that the USA plans to hold talks with Russian representatives in the coming days.

Rubio and Waltz stated that the USA expects a swift ceasefire in Ukraine and a transition to negotiations to resolve the conflict.
