The situation on the front: 64 combat engagements in the past day, the most intense is in the Pokrovsk direction

This is reported with reference to the summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the General Staff, today, as a result of shelling by enemy artillery and mortars, the communities of settlements in Chernihiv and Sumy regions, including Bachivsk, Yastrubshchyna, Mykolaivka, Khodyne, Bila Bereza, were affected.

In the Kharkiv direction, there were four attacks by the occupiers near Vovchansk, Kamyanka, and towards Kutkivka, and one battle is currently ongoing. The enemy carried out an airstrike on Uhdy.

In the Kupyansk direction, Russian forces tried eight times to break through our defenses in the areas of Petropavlivka, Bohuslavka, Lozova, Zahryzove, and towards Kupiansk, with one combat clash still ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, the invading army conducted six attacks on Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Novoehorivka, Zelena Dolyna, and towards Novomykhailivka during the day. One combat clash is still ongoing.

Ukrainian defenders repelled two enemy attacks in the Siversk direction in the areas of Verkhniokamyanske and Ivano-Dariivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian soldiers are repelling two enemy attacks in the area of Chasiv Yar.

In the Toretsk direction, the aggressor carried out seven assault actions in the areas of Toretsk and Druzhba, with six battles still ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian invaders made 11 attempts to push Ukrainian defenders out of occupied positions in the areas of Sukhaya Balka, Yelyzavetivka, Promin, Kotlyne, Novooleksandrivka, Uspenivka, Yaseneve, Andriivka. The defence forces are holding the pressure and have repelled 10 enemy attacks, with one battle still ongoing. Pokrovsk was subjected to aerial strikes by GABs.

In the Novopavlivsk direction, the enemy tried six times to break through the defense of Ukrainian defenders in the area of Kostyantynopil. The enemy dropped GABs on Novopavlivka.

In the Hulyai-Pole direction, the invader attacked in the areas of Skudne, Pryvilne, Vilne Pole, and towards Novopil. The enemy also struck Novopil, Novodarivka, Hulyaipole with unguided aerial rockets and dropped GABs on Shevchenko.

In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine five times in the areas of Stepove and Zherebyanka. All attacks have been repelled.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions, but did carry out airstrikes on Olhivka, Tokarivka, and Mykolaivka.

In the Kursk direction, since the beginning of the day, eight combat clashes have occurred, two of which are still ongoing. Additionally, the enemy conducted nine airstrikes, dropping 16 guided aerial bombs, and carried out 104 shellings of Ukrainian troops’ positions and settlements.

No significant changes in other directions.
