General Staff: In the Belgorod region, the Defence Forces destroyed a Russian command post
The Defence Forces carried out a strike on the Russian command post in the Belgorod region on March 18. The target was completely destroyed.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"On March 18, the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the command post of one of the units of the 3rd motor rifle division of the 20th army of the armed forces of the Russian Federation in the area of Demidivka in the Belgorod region," the statement said.

According to the General Staff, as a result of the strike, the command post was completely destroyed.
The importance of this command post
This target was used by the enemy to plan and conduct combat operations against Defence Forces units in the Sumy region.
"Its elimination significantly reduces the ability of the Russian 3rd motor rifle division units to act effectively on the battlefield," the military noted.
The General Staff assures that the pilots of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will continue to target enemy military infrastructure elements until the cessation of its armed aggression.
