Zelenskyy: Rustem Umyerov will participate in the talks in Saudi Arabia

Defence Minister Umyerov will participate in negotiations between Ukraine and the USA, which will take place in Saudi Arabia on March 24, Zelenskyy announced.

"The team will be at quite a high level, these are technically and professionally prepared people, and the defense minister will also be present separately. I think that we will be ready to act quickly and substantively," he said at a joint briefing with Czech President Pavel.

Additionally, when responding to journalists’ questions about the possible signing of agreements or arrangements in Saudi Arabia, Zelenskyy noted that he cannot say how this meeting will end. However, he emphasized, "It would be good if the meeting concluded with some result that could bring us closer to a complete ceasefire."
