Zelenskyy calls to increase pressure on Russia due to the strike on Kryvyi Rih

This was stated by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Commenting on yesterday’s missile strike in Kryvyi Rih, he noted that many people around the world have expressed their position - a position of clear rejection of Russian terror. Zelenskyy emphasized that the whole world should be grateful for this.

"To everyone who sees this and does not close their eyes but speaks clearly and truthfully, not only we in Ukraine but the entire world must be grateful. Silencing the fact that it is Russia that is killing children with ballistic missiles is wrong and dangerous. It only encourages the criminals in Moscow to continue the war and ignore diplomacy. Weakness has never ended a war. So I am grateful to every country whose representatives have spoken out: leaders, foreign ministers, embassies," said the president.

He added that the Russian ballistic missile hit "on the street of an ordinary city, on residential buildings." Moreover, after this strike, there was an additional drone attack that resulted in one person being killed and several others injured. The head of state stressed that the Russian Federation must be held responsible.

"Russia must be held accountable for everything it has done, pressure must be applied on them — real pressure, without wasting time on empty talks, to end this war," Zelenskyy concluded.
