The situation at the front: 75 combat engagements occurred, battles continue in seven directions

Since the beginning of the day, there have been 75 combat engagements on the front line, with the most enemy attacks occurring in the Pokrovsk direction, where 26 attempts to dislodge Ukrainian defenders from their positions have been recorded.

This is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the situation at the front as of 16:00 on April 11.

Russian strikes on Ukrainian territory

Today, communities in the villages of Khrinivka in the Chernihiv region; Prokhody, Stepok, Turia, Riasne, Slavhorod, Petrushivka, Kucheryvka, Maryine, Velyka Pysarivka, Pokrovka, Ulanove, Popivka, Oleksandriia, Riasne in the Sumy region were affected by enemy artillery and mortars. Additionally, enemy aviation carried out strikes with guided aerial bombs on the villages of Mykolaivka in the Chernihiv region; Petrushivka, Prokhody, Myropilske, Osoivka, Taratutine, Krasnopillia, Velykyi Prykil in the Sumy region.

Situation in the Kharkiv region

In the Kupyansk direction, Russian occupiers attacked the positions of the Defence Forces seven times in the areas of Holubivka, Nova Kruhliakivka, and Zahryzove; three combats are ongoing.

Fighting in the East

In the Lyman direction, the occupying army conducted 12 attacks on Ukrainian positions near the settlements of Nadiia, Hrekivka, Nove, and Katerynivka. Four combat engagements are still ongoing.

In the Siversk direction, our defenders are repelling an attack by the enemy in the area of Ivano-Darivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian defenders are repelling two assault actions by the Russian invaders. The enemy is attempting to break through in the areas of Kurdyumivka and Orikhovo-Vasylivka.

In the Toretsk direction, our defenders repelled five attacks by the occupiers near Dachne, Druzhba, and Toretsk, and one combat engagement is ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, Russian invaders made 26 attempts to push our defenders from their positions in the areas of Kalynove, Tarasivka, Yelyzavetivka, Pishchane, Udachne, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Nadiivka, and Andriivka. The Defence Forces are holding the line and repelled 24 enemy attacks; two combat engagements are currently ongoing. The settlement of Bahatyr suffered air strikes.

In the Novopavlivsk direction, the enemy attempted to breach our defenders’ defences three times in the areas of Rozlyv and Rozdolne.

Combat operations in the South

In the Huliaipole direction, there were three combat engagements with the enemy in the areas of Pryvilne, Novosilka, and Burlatske.

The settlement of Huliaipole suffered air strikes by assault aviation, and the enemy hit Novopil and Shevchenko with GABs.

In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian forces repelled two enemy attacks in the area of Maly Shcherbaky.

In the Prydniprovske direction, the enemy attempted three times to approach our defenders’ positions without success.

Situation in the Kursk region

In the Kursk direction, there have been ten combat engagements since the beginning of the day, three of which are ongoing. Additionally, the enemy carried out 25 air strikes, dropping 41 GABs, and conducted 259 artillery attacks, including 16 from multiple rocket launchers.

The General Staff added that in other directions, there are no significant changes.
