Ministry of Strategic Industries: Ukraine can produce up to 10 million FPV drones per year

Ukrainian enterprises can annually produce up to 10 million FPV drones.

This was stated by the Minister of Strategic Industries, Herman Smetanin.

The official noted that in 2024, Ukraine manufactured 2.2 million units of FPV drones, and this year the country’s producers "have further increased the volumes."

At the same time, Smetanin pointed out that the most important aspect is not the increase in quantity but the localization of components for the drones, which are already being produced in Ukraine. This includes motors and initiation boards, and the assembly of cameras for FPV drones has also begun in Ukraine, added the minister.

"Therefore, we have made significant progress in this direction," the minister concluded.
