Throughout the week, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 551 aerial targets
Last week, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 551 aerial targets used by the Russian aggressor forces to attack Ukrainian settlements.
The press service of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook on April 13.
The Air Force report mentions only the downed drones, without reference to missiles.
In total, 229 Shahed strike UAVs, 145 reconnaissance drones, and 177 other types of drones were shot down over the week.
The Air Force conducted 117 sorties, mainly for fighter air cover, as well as for fire engagement and aviation support of the troops.
"Air Force pilots conducted dozens of airstrikes on enemy positions with bombs and missiles of various types. Command posts, areas of equipment concentration, and manpower were hit," the report states.
The Air Force military also reported 1283 combat sorties by unmanned aviation complexes of the Combined Rifle Brigade: 1103 sorties were reconnaissance using UAVs, the rest were for drops and FPV drones application.
Enemy combat losses were approximately:
- over 80 personnel;
- 12 enemy shelters.
"We are hitting the enemy together! Together – to victory," the military emphasized.
