The United Kingdom on Monday, April 14, provided Ukraine with 752 million pounds sterling (990 million dollars) as part of a G7 loan using proceeds from frozen Russian assets.

This was reported by Reuters.

It is noted that the latest tranche from the United Kingdom for Ukraine is the second of three planned payments totaling 2.26 billion pounds sterling. The first tranche was made on March 6 and amounted to 752 million pounds sterling. The other funds are planned to be paid out in 2026.

"The world is changing before our eyes, rewritten by global instability, including Russian aggression in Ukraine," noted the UK Treasury Secretary Rachel Reeves.
