Sybiha and Umyerov disclosed details of the negotiations at the "coalition of the willing" in Paris
The discussion concerned issues of the ceasefire regime, the multinational contingent, and security guarantees for Ukraine.
A Ukrainian delegation of high-ranking officials held a meeting in Paris with diplomatic and security advisors from France, the United Kingdom, and Germany.
This was reported by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andriy Sybiha, on the network X.
Sybiha noted that today, in the Élysée Palace in Paris, a meeting took place with the participation of the Head of the President’s Office, AndriyYermak, and the Minister of Defence, Rustem Umyerov, along with the diplomatic advisor to the French President, Emmanuel Bonne, the UK National Security Advisor, Jonathan Powell, and the German National Security Advisor, Jens Plotner.
"We discussed ways to achieve a just and lasting peace, particularly a complete ceasefire, the multinational contingent, and security guarantees for Ukraine," Sybiha emphasized and published photos from the meeting.
As the Minister of Defence, Rustem Umyerov, reported, further steps for achieving a just and sustainable peace were discussed in negotiations with representatives of the "coalition of the willing" countries.
"In particular, positions were agreed upon regarding the implementation of a complete ceasefire, the involvement of a multinational military contingent, and the creation of an effective security architecture for our country," Umyerov noted.
According to him, work on security guarantees with our partners continues.
