Ordzhonikidze District Court of Kharkiv found the woman guilty of abuse of influence.

This was reported by "Court Reporter" with reference to the verdict dated April 17.

The citizen offered to influence officials of the RTRC and SS, the medical-social expert commission, and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine regarding the issuance of necessary medical and military documents for unhindered crossing of the state border for an unlawful benefit.

She informed the potential client that he would need to undergo hospital treatment for two months. However, in reality, it would not be necessary to stay in a medical facility, only to take tests and meet with doctors who would give advice on how to behave at the medical commission for establishing a disability group. Since the man did not have any military documents at all, the accused increased the reward amount from 10 to 17 thousand dollars.

In a conversation, the woman assured that she constantly dealt with the preparation of such documents for Ukrainian citizens and never had issues with it. She also assured that the announced amount includes unhindered crossing of the state border of Ukraine, as she has her people among the officials of the border service. The only thing the man would need to do is to notify her of the intention to cross the border so that she could direct him to a specific border crossing point where the necessary officials are located.

According to the case materials, an unknown man on a motorcycle tried to collect the money for the accused, but the witness did not dare to hand it over.

During the search at the woman’s residence, they seized documents in files named after 16 persons, as well as an ID of an employee of the National Police.

As it turned out, the accused previously worked in the police. In 2024, she was a leading engineer for transport operations at the "V.O. Malyshev Plant" SE. At the time of sentencing, she was officially unemployed. It is known that she is raising a young son who is attending school.

Since the exposure, she stated her intention to cooperate with the investigation. In the court session, she admitted guilt, so the court did not examine the evidence in full.

The accused was penalized with a fine of 51 thousand hryvnias.
