Ukraine received 2 million euros for equipment to improve communication in the Armed Forces
Ukraine received equipment deliveries worth nearly 2 million euros from the so-called IT coalition. The aid for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) was funded by Luxembourg and Iceland.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine.
European partners handed over resources to the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine that are necessary to improve the communication of Ukrainian military forces on the front line. These included:
- 3,288 access points of various models
- 500 routers
- 460 charging stations with solar panels
- 872 phones.
"I thank the countries of the IT coalition for strengthening the technological resilience of our military. With this equipment, we will enhance the capabilities for quality and reliable communication in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which is very important on the line of combat engagement," stated Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine for Digitalization Kateryna Chernohorenko on the support.
It should be added that this is already the third delivery from the IT coalition in 2025. In January of this year, as part of the initiative, Estonia, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg transferred equipment worth 3.3 million euros to Ukraine, and in February - worth 7.5 million euros.
