The Ambassador of Ukraine in Austria expressed outrage over the Russian propaganda concert in Vienna
Ukrainian Ambassador to Austria Vasyl Khymynets called it disgraceful to give a platform to a terrorist state through a Russian concert for "Victory Day" in Vienna.
The ambassador wrote about it on X.
In his post, Khymynets inquires who permitted the organization of such an event, which he describes as unworthy and disgraceful.
"One can talk a lot about democracy and values, but at the same time, by allowing such events that are military propaganda, giving a platform to a terrorist state, weakening democracy and international law," the ambassador wrote.
The opposition Belarusian media NEXTA reported on the "Songs of Victory" concert with astonishment that this is happening in Vienna, not in Moscow.
According to them, Ukrainian activists came out to protest during the concert, but Russians tried to snatch posters from their hands.
