The Dream Berry shopping and entertainment center in Obolon suffered damage due to a Russian attack on the night of May 3-4. Its operations have been restored.

One of the most famous shopping and entertainment centers in Kyiv, Dream Berry, is operating at 80%. This was reported to NV Business by its co-owner Harik Korohodskyi. "The entire first floor is operational," he notes. He also adds that all tenants can open their stores, but to do so, they need to obtain a permit from the rescuers, which the shopping center staff helps with.

Korohodskyi noted that as a result of the attack, the facade of Dream Berry was partially damaged, with some doors broken and glazing shattered in certain areas. The roof was not damaged. The company has not yet calculated the amount of the damages. "We began restoration work that very night and plan to complete it within a week," says Korohodskyi. "Thank you to everyone who offered help or expressed condolences." According to him, the Dream Yellow shopping center was not affected.

The number of cars in the shopping center’s parking lots tripled on the morning after the Russian attack compared to an average weekend, Korogodsky adds. "There are more people in the stores than usual," he notes.

The first phase of the Dream Town shopping center opened in 2009, and the second in 2011. The total area of the shopping center is 162,000 square meters. Among the tenants are H&M, Zara, Pull and Bear, New Balance, Adidas, Silpo, JYSK, Foxtrot, Comfy, and others. In 2021, after a rebranding initiative, the shopping complex changed its names to Dream Yellow and Dream Berry.
