The number of injured as a result of Russian shelling in the Donetsk region has increased to eight
In the Donetsk region, the number of people wounded on Monday as a result of Russian shelling has risen to eight. Among the injured are a mother with two young children.
This was reported by the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office on Telegram.
It is stated that on May 5, 2025, at 11:45, the occupiers hit a car in Myrnohrad with an FPV drone. As a result of the attack, three civilians aged 20, 24, and 25 years received blast injuries and shrapnel wounds. They were given qualified medical care.
Already at 13:00, the enemy attacked Myrnohrad again. This time, they struck a motorcycle, on which two citizens were riding, with a UAV. A 60-year-old woman was diagnosed with a traumatic brain injury, a concussion, and a fracture. A 63-year-old man received shrapnel wounds.
A little later, the village of Novodonetske in the Kramatorsk district came under fire from the aggressor state’s troops. A shell hit a multi-story residential building. In the apartment, a 37-year-old mother and her two-year-old daughter sustained shrapnel wounds and an open fracture, while the injured woman’s 10-year-old son, who was playing in the yard, experienced an acute stress reaction. Doctors assess the condition of the woman and the girl as moderate. The type of weapon is being determined.
Thus, today, Russian invaders injured eight civilians in shelling of peaceful settlements, among them two children.
"Prosecutors are documenting the consequences of attacks on civilians by the armed forces of the Russian Federation. Under the procedural guidance of the Kramatorsk and Pokrovsk district prosecutor’s offices, pre-trial investigations have been initiated in criminal proceedings for war crimes (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)," the report says.
