In the town of Sheptytskyi in the Lviv region, a junior sergeant of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, mobilized for duty, appropriated a hexacopter Vampire — a Ukrainian drone-bomber, and attempted to sell it for 17,000 US dollars.

This is reported with reference to the criminal proceedings under Article 410 of the Criminal Code.

According to the investigation, a pilot from the 2nd Border Command Unit of Rapid Response appropriated the hexacopter. In Sheptytskyi, he and his cousin demonstrated the hexacopter to a serviceman from another military unit and offered to sell it for 700,000 UAH or the equivalent in foreign currency — 17,000 dollars.

The man was charged under part 4 of Article 410 of the Criminal Code.
