The occupiers shelled Sumy region almost 200 times: three people were killed, and seven more were injured
Russian occupiers, despite the so-called "truce" announced by the dictator of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, continued shelling in Sumy region on May 8th and 9th. Over two days, the enemy fired at the region’s territory almost 200 times. There are casualties and injured.
The head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, reported this on the social network Facebook.
"No "truce" in Sumy region on May 8th and 9th: over two days, Russia killed three civilians. The enemy did not cease the shelling of Sumy region on either May 8th or 9th. Over these two days, the enemy shelled the region’s territory almost 200 times. The consequences of the enemy strikes were recorded in the following communities: Richkivska, Novoslobidska, Shostkynska, Bilopilska, Vorozhbyanska, Hlukhivska, Seredyno-Budska, Yunakivska, Svyska, and Mykolaivska (rural)," the official reported.
It is also known about seven injured due to Russian shelling.
The enemy shelled the communities of the Sumy region using GAB, "Smerch", mortars, artillery, FPV drones, drones with VOG grenades, NARs, and missiles.
As a result of enemy shelling over two days, the following were damaged:
- 39 private houses, one three-story, and two apartment buildings;
- a school,
- two enterprises;
- two garages;
- four vehicles;
- a store;
- electrical networks.
