After the "ceasefire," Russia launched a massive drone attack on Ukraine

In the night of May 11, the Russian terrorist army carried out a massive attack with kamikaze drones. For the first time in three days, which according to the Kremlin’s claims were considered a ’truce,’ the enemy launched UAVs.

The invaders are attacking with drones from the north, east, and south. This is reported by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The threat initially appeared around 3:00 AM for the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhya regions. After some time, the occupiers began attacking the Chernihiv and Sumy regions with UAVs.

The southern regions of Ukraine also came under drone attack. As of 5:30 AM, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the presence of UAVs in the southern and southeastern part of the Kharkiv region, in the western part of the Poltava region, in the southern and central parts of the Chernihiv region, as well as in the southern and eastern parts of the Kyiv region.

Additionally, monitoring channels reported that Russian forces massively attacked several settlements in the Donetsk region with drones, where a series of explosions occurred.

Some of the drones were directed at Kyiv. Around 6:00 AM, the mayor of the capital, Vitaliy Klychko, reported on the operation of the air defence.

After 7:00, some of the drones from the Kyiv region moved to the Zhytomyr region. The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned of the danger, particularly for the regional center. Monitoring channels clarified that the UAVs are flying towards the city from a southwestern direction.

In southern Ukraine, the drone attack was repelled by the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine together with units of other components of the Defence Forces. As a result of combat work, 2 kamikaze drones were destroyed.

In the Mykolaiv region on the morning of May 11, combat work against enemy drones was also carried out. The head of the regional military administration, Vitaliy Kim, specified that 7 ’Shaheds’ were destroyed in the sky over the region.
