Trump called on Ukraine to immediately agree to negotiations with Putin

U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Vladimir Putin does not seek a ceasefire agreement, but is ready to meet with the Ukrainian side in Turkey this Thursday to discuss a possible cessation of bloodshed.

"Russian President Putin doesn’t want to sign a ceasefire agreement with Ukraine — he wants to meet on Thursday in Turkey to discuss the possible end of the BLOODBATH. Ukraine should agree to this IMMEDIATELY.

At the very least, it will allow us to understand whether there is any chance for an agreement. And if not — European leaders and the U.S. will at least clearly know what’s what and can act accordingly.

Honestly, I am starting to doubt that Ukraine even wants to negotiate with Putin at all — especially since he is currently busy celebrating the Second World War, a victory which would have been simply unreal without the U.S.
