Erdogan urged Zelenskyy not to miss the chance for peace talks with Russia

President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a phone conversation with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during which he emphasized the importance of utilizing the opportunity to resume peace talks between Kyiv and Moscow.

This was reported by the office of the Turkish leader.

In the discussion, the parties talked about bilateral relations, as well as regional and global issues. Erdoğan noted that he supports the idea of resuming direct dialogue between Ukraine and Russia and is ready to provide all necessary support at any stage of the negotiations.

He also emphasized that Turkey is open to hosting a meeting of Ukrainian and Russian delegations on its territory.

According to the Turkish president, a comprehensive ceasefire will create conditions for the resumption of the negotiation process, and this opportunity should not be missed.
