Since the beginning of 2025, Russia has lost over 6,000 artillery systems, — Syrskyi

Since the beginning of 2025, the Russian army has lost over six thousand artillery systems. Overall, during the time of the full-scale war, the Defence Forces of Ukraine have destroyed more than 19,000 enemy artillery units.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, quoting the words of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, General Oleksandr Syrskyi. The agency emphasizes that the systematic destruction of enemy artillery assets significantly reduces their offensive capabilities and complicates the retention of temporarily occupied territories.

"Since the beginning of the year, the enemy has lost over six thousand artillery systems (6,186). In just a year and four and a half months, the Defence Forces of Ukraine have struck more than 19,000 occupiers’ artillery systems (19,236)," the general reported.

He thanked Ukrainian soldiers for their resilience and effectiveness, emphasizing that the struggle continues.
