In the Sumy region, bus routes have been adjusted due to attacks
Due to the threat of shelling, the passenger transport route between Sumy and Putyvl has been changed. The new route scheme allows avoiding dangerous directions and maintains almost the same length.
This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
"Due to the threat of enemy shelling, a decision has been made to change the route of public passenger road transport from Sumy to Putyvl," announced the RMA.
As noted by the administration, on the instructions of Sumy RMA Head Oleh Hryhorov, specialists from the Department of Community, Territory, and Infrastructure Development, together with carriers, developed an alternative route that is as close in length as possible to the previous one.
"It allows avoiding the presence of transport in potentially dangerous directions," explained the RMA.
Currently, updated schedules are being prepared that will take the route changes into account.
As noted by the administration, the introduction date of the new schedules will be announced additionally, and information will be provided to community residents locally, considering the security situation.
"Our priority is the safety of people and ensuring the possibility of travel between communities. We ask for your understanding regarding these changes," emphasized Hryhorov.
