In the Kyiv region, the number of injured as a result of the Russian missile and drone attack on the night of May 25 has increased to 33.
This was reported by the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, Mykola Kalashnyk, on Facebook.
According to Kalashnyk, Kyiv region continues to actively address the aftermath of the night enemy attack. All operational services of the region are involved.
He noted that the number of injured in the region has increased to 33, including seven children.
Nineteen injured are in seven medical institutions.
Kalashnyk emphasized that all necessary medical assistance is being provided in full. There is no threat to the lives of the injured. The condition of seven injured is satisfactory (mild). The condition of 12 people is of moderate severity.
According to him, individuals who received outpatient medical assistance did not seek help again.
Kalashnyk noted that assistance is organized for people at the site of each enemy strike. In Makariv, 39 private houses were damaged and destroyed.
He informed that two tents of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine are being set up there, where people can receive food and other assistance.
According to Kalashnyk, necessary construction materials have already been allocated from the reserve fund of material reserves.
He thanked the partners and noted that “charitable foundations ‘Hansen’s Mission in Ukraine’, ‘ROKADA’, GEM have joined in providing construction materials to the victims. In addition, ‘Hansen’s Mission in Ukraine’ has already organized housing in ‘Hansen’s Miracle Town’ for families whose homes have been destroyed.”
According to Kalashnyk, builders together with homeowners are performing priority restoration work, protecting the houses from precipitation.
DTEK Kyiv Regional Electric Networks services have started restoring the electricity supply.
A commission is working on-site to determine the level of hazard of the houses for entering data into the damaged property register.
"We have to work cohesively so that people can receive compensation for destroyed or damaged property," Kalashnyk emphasized.
