President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that as a result of the massive Russian shelling of the energy infrastructure, Ukraine may face a gas shortage.

According to the head of state, overcoming this shortage will require significant financial resources – approximately 1 billion euros. Zelenskyy emphasized that the situation is critical, and Ukraine is already working on attracting aid to overcome the potential crisis.

The massive strikes by the Russian Federation in recent weeks have significantly damaged energy facilities, including gas capacities, which may affect the supply of fuel to the population and businesses during the cold season.
