Zelenskyy appointed a new head of the Kherson City Military Administration

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed an order appointing a new head of the Kherson Military Civil Administration.

According to document No. 76/2025-rp, published on the website of the head of state, Yaroslav Shanko has been appointed to head the administration of the city of Kherson.

The document states: «Appoint Shanko Yaroslav Viktorovych as the head of the Kherson City Military Civil Administration of Kherson District, Kherson Region».

Yaroslav Shanko officially assumed the position of head of the Military Civil Administration under martial law, when the security situation in the region remains tense due to its proximity to the combat zone.
