Employees of the State Border Guard Service were attempted to be bribed 1555 times for a total amount of over 18.8 million hryvnias

Since the beginning of martial law in Ukraine, border guards have recorded 1,555 attempts of offering undue advantage totaling more than 18.8 million hryvnias. 

This was reported by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine.

In particular, only in May 2025, 62 attempts to bribe law enforcement officers were recorded, amounting to over 1.2 million hryvnias.

The SBGS emphasized that they have zero tolerance for corruption and take all measures to expose individuals attempting to evade responsibility or violate the law.
