Due to the massive attack by Russia on Ukraine, 80 people were injured, and there are fatalities, – Zelenskyy

As a result of Russian attacks on Ukraine, 80 people were injured and six were killed, reported the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

«Throughout the day, rescue and emergency operations continued in various regions and cities of our country. Ternopil, Lutsk, Kyiv and the region, Poltava region, Khmelnytskyi region, Lviv region, Chernihiv region, Odesa region, Sumy region. A total of 80 people were injured – all received assistance. Unfortunately, there are fatalities. So far, four deaths are known – in Kyiv and Lutsk (later it became known about two more deaths in Lutsk and Chernihiv – ed.)», – he said in his video address.

Zelenskyy noted that not everyone in the world condemns such strikes, and this is what Russian President Vladimir Putin takes advantage of.

«He tries to buy time to continue fighting. The Russians constantly try to divide the world to prevent increased pressure due to the war. The tasks must be clearly seen. Diplomacy must work, security guarantees must be provided, peace must be established, and initial steps are needed for this, including a ceasefire. Pressure must be put on Russia for this to happen and for the strikes to stop», – added the Ukrainian president.
