Explosion of a car near Odesa: a TRC colonel, Nomerovskyi, is likely dead

Explosion of a TRC car: according to Odesa media, the colonel of the Odesa TRC Nomerovskyi died in the car.

It is reported that the explosion occurred on the road from Odesa to Berezivka at 15:39, somewhere between Dobroslav and Berezivka.

According to preliminary information, it was a deliberate detonation of the TRC car. According to bomb experts, the car was likely detonated remotely.

The burned Renault Megane belonged to the Berezivka District TRC of the Odesa region. The driver was the head of the fourth department of the Odesa TRC, Colonel Oleh Nomerovskyi.

At the scene of the incident, a body was found in the burnt-out cabin, and human remains were found on the road. The car floor was missing in the driver’s seat area.

Investigative teams, experts, and SSU officers are working at the scene. Both versions of a terrorist act and a targeted assassination are being considered.

There is no official confirmation yet regarding the identity of the deceased.
