Zelenskyy: The most intense battles are ongoing in the Pokrovsk direction, Russia is suffering heavy losses

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the evening address of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"The most brutal, intense fighting is ongoing in the Pokrovsk direction, as well as in the areas of the Kursk operation and at the border of the Sumy region. Everywhere, the Russian tactic is the same: they disregard losses and attempt to move forward, assaulting Ukrainian positions, striving to gain at least a meter of territory," stated the head of state.

According to him, Russia’s potential, however, is not limitless. Therefore, a certain level of losses and Ukrainian activity slow down the enemy’s advancement.

The President also separately noted the units of Ukrainian defenders who are guarding Ukraine.
