Head of the Odesa District Council Vitaliy Barvinenko concealed his wife’s Crimean property in the declaration

The head of the Odesa District Council Vitaliy Barvinenko, previously convicted of corruption, did not declare an apartment and a plot of land in occupied Crimea, which are registered in the name of his wife Karina Barvinenko (Tanevska). 

According to the source, real estate in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea is registered to Barvinenko’s wife, which is absent in her husband’s declarations. This includes an apartment of 73.1 square meters in Hurzuf at the address 3a Budivelnykiv Street, letter A. Additionally, a plot of land measuring 0.072 hectares is registered to her on Krymsky Partizan Street.

In a comment to journalists, Vitaliy Barvinenko stated that he was unaware of his wife’s property. Karina Barvinenko (Tanevska), in turn, hung up the phone, refusing to comment on the situation.
