Zelenskyy was not informed in advance about the reduction of military aid from the USA

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy was not informed in advance about the reduction in military aid from the United States, but he hopes that these are just signals, as the final decision on this issue belongs to President Donald Trump.

"I was not informed in advance. I still very much hope that these signals – are just signals. In the end, we understand who is the head of the house. Therefore, it is very important that President Trump does not confirm the words of the minister (of defence – U.S. - IF) with his actions," said Zelenskyy in an interview with the American television channel Newsmax.

He added that he wants to discuss this issue with Trump during the G7 summit.

"And these are very serious signals from the U.S. Secretary of Defence. They are painful. Even just words are painful," Zelenskyy emphasized.
