The family of the head of the State Tax Service, Lesya Karnaukh, uses a relatives’ car and owns extensive real estate

The head of the State Tax Service of Ukraine, Lesya Karnaukh, and her husband use cars that are registered to relatives.

The family uses two cars free of charge: a 2019 Jeep Compass, purchased in 2022 for 301 thousand UAH (owner — Lyudmyla Karnaukh), and a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, purchased in 2023 for 402 thousand UAH (owner — Arkadiy Karnaukh).

The total income of the family for the year 2024 was 2.3 million UAH. Lesya Karnaukh received 1.95 million UAH in salary from the Kyiv Regional State Administration, her husband, who works at the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, received 163.4 thousand UAH, as well as 163 thousand UAH in income from LLC "Modern Space".

The family owns significant real estate assets: two land plots in Muzhychi village, Kyiv region (1250 m² and 1404 m², purchased in 2006, worth 75 thousand UAH each); a plot in Kyiv (909 m²), jointly owned (25% — Lesia Karnaukh, 50% — Tetyana Averkova, 25% — Yuliia Didyk), purchased in 2005 for 111 thousand UAH; three plots in Nigin village, Khmelnytskyi region (13,994 m², 2500 m², 1501 m²), owned by Dmytro Sosulya.

The family’s real estate assets include: an apartment in Kyiv (30.9 m², purchased in 2000 for 4.8 thousand UAH), an apartment in Sviatopetrivske village, Kyiv region (115.7 m², purchased in 2014 for 663 thousand UAH), a house in Nigin village (61.4 m², purchased in 2019) — all owned by Dmytro Sosula, as well as an unfinished residential house in Kyiv (joint ownership of Lesya Karnaukh, Tetyana Averkova, and Yuliya Didyk).

According to the declaration, Lesya Karnaukh has 256 thousand UAH in her accounts at PrivatBank, 12 thousand dollars in cash, and 60 thousand UAH in cash. Dmytro Sosulya keeps 10 thousand dollars in cash.
