Battles for Kamyanske: Russian forces are attempting to capture a strategic bridgehead near Zaporizhzhya

In the Zaporizhzhya direction, Russian troops are trying to establish themselves in the Kamyanske area.

This was reported by the representative of the Defence Forces of southern Ukraine, Vladyslav Voloshyn.

Earlier, the military public Deep State mentioned Russia’s advance in this area. However, according to Voloshyn, “positions have not been lost.”

He explained that Kamyanske is located on an elevation along the Simferopol-Kharkiv highway. “By capturing this settlement, the enemy will be able to carry out artillery strikes on Stepnohirsk and reach the southern outskirts of Zaporizhzhya,” Voloshyn noted.
