The EU will deliver 2 million shells to Ukraine by the end of the year, — von der Leyen

By the end of 2025, the European Union plans to deliver two million artillery shells to Ukraine.

This was announced by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, during a briefing in Denmark.

She stated that over 2 billion euros have already been invested in Ukraine’s defence, including funds from the profits of frozen Russian assets.

«This is significant support, but it is still not enough. Ukraine needs more», — emphasized von der Leyen.

Earlier, the EU also stated that they plan to systematically use frozen Russian assets to finance military aid to Ukraine.
