Syrskyi sharply commented on the conflict with battalion commander Shyrshyn

The commander of the battalion of the 47th mechanized brigade, Oleksandr Shyrshyn, who carried out tasks in the Sumy and Kursk directions, criticized the military leadership and submitted a report. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, reacted to the scandal and accusations.

Syrskyi stated that commanders on the ground can independently decide how to carry out a specific task and whether it needs to be performed at all.

At the same time, the Commander-in-Chief believes that Shyrshyn simply wanted to draw attention to himself. However, he is ready to transfer the battalion commander wherever he wishes.

"He was once on vacation in Spain. We were willing to contact him. We will transfer him wherever he wants. How do I react to this post? Well, he obviously wants attention or realization, I don’t know, solving problems via Facebook is not entirely clear to me," Syrskyi said.
