At OSTG "Khortytsia," they explained whether there are battles ongoing in the Dnipropetrovsk region
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, there are no battles between the Ukrainian Defence Forces and Russian occupiers. However, combat clashes are occurring very close to the region.
This was reported by the spokesperson of the Operational Command "Khortytsia," Viktor Trehubov, on a television broadcast.
"In the Dnipropetrovsk region, no battles with the enemy are taking place yet. Battles are occurring in the Donetsk region, very close to the Dnipropetrovsk region," Trehubov noted.
At the same time, he added that there are currently many questions in this regard. In addition, he pointed out that Russia is eager to exaggerate the situation in the Ukrainian information field.
According to the spokesperson of the Operational Command "Khortytsia," the Russians primarily attempt to break through in the Pokrovsk direction. The enemy is also exerting pressure towards the administrative borders of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Tregubov added that an active offensive is ongoing in the Lyman direction, with increased Russian pressure in the Kupyansk direction, as well as in the Kharkiv region near the city of Vovchansk.
Moreover, attacks continue in the Kramatorsk and Siversk directions, and fighting is ongoing in Toretsk.
"New are the two active offensives in the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivske directions, which constitute this Russian summer campaign - in our sector, in our area of responsibility," Trehubov concluded.
