Zelenskyy appointed Roman Marchuk as the Deputy Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has appointed a new Deputy Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine.
The corresponding decree No. 470/2025 was published on July 8 on the website of the Office of the President.
According to the document, Roman Marchuk has been appointed as the Deputy Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service. He has taken on one of the key positions in the intelligence structure.

Previously, the Foreign Intelligence Service reported on the increased activities of the Russian Federation in the temporarily occupied territories, particularly concerning infrastructure construction plans in Crimea with the participation of China. Marchuk’s appointment may be part of the personnel renewal of the Foreign Intelligence Service in response to new national security threats.
