The occupiers have concentrated a record number of forces near Pokrovsk: over 100,000 soldiers
Russia has concentrated over 100,000 troops in the Pokrovsk direction, deploying all the main forces of their summer offensive there. Despite intense pressure, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) continue to maintain their defence and engage in heavy defensive battles.
This was reported by the spokesperson of the Joint Strategic Forces Group "Khortytsia," Viktor Trehubov, on the air of "Suspilne. Studio". In the Pokrovsk direction, Russia has gathered a record number of forces for the entire summer offensive – over 100,000 soldiers.

This has become the main strike direction following the failure of plans in the Sumy region and minimal successes in Novopavlivka.
According to Trehubov, the occupiers concentrated their main reserves for the so-called summer campaign near Pokrovsk and Kostyantynivka.
In the Sumy region, the plan completely failed, and in the Novopavlivka direction – the advance is minimal. But in the Pokrovsk area, all available forces have been concentrated, – noted Trehubov.
Despite this, the AFU are engaged in heavy defensive battles and are holding back the enemy even under conditions of intense use of aviation, guided aerial bombs, and various equipment by the Russians. The military note that the load is very high, but positions are being maintained.
