Klychko appointed Zakorchemnyi as the head of "Zhuliany" airport

The Mayor of Kyiv, Vitaliy Klychko, appointed Oleh Zakorchemnyi as the new head of the "Zhuliany" airport. The name of the current airport head is associated with the former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Airport, Denys Kostrzhevskyi, who fled to Spain before the onset of the war.

This became known from the Kyiv City Mayor Vitaliy Klychko’s order No. 562 dated July 8, 2025.

“Appoint Oleh Zakorchemnyi to the position of General Director of the communal enterprise Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany) from July 9, 2025, by signing a contract with him,” states the document.

According to data from the Youcontrol analytical system, Zakorchemnyi is the former head of the "Doc Life" Medical Center and other enterprises, as well as the current director of the company "Inagrotrade".

As reported by the ORD website (currently not operating), the former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany) Denys Kostrzhevskyi left Ukraine nine days before the start of the Russian invasion.

“In Spain, Denys Kostrzhevskyi granted power of attorney for managing questionable business and disposing of property to Oleh Zakorchemnyi,” the article notes.

According to reports, Denys Kostrzhevskyi was the owner and manager of companies such as: “Master-Avia” LLC (the management company of Kyiv International Airport), “Nika-Invest” asset management company, “NOT” LLC, “Livoberezhzhya Plus” LLC, “Investment Union LYBID” LLC, “Construction Company Miskzhylbud” LLC, “Mioritm” PJSC, “Yustitan” LLC, “Universal Plus” LLC, “Center for Modern Investment Solutions” LLC, “Mediradiopreparat” LLC, “Expo Insurance” insurance company, “Ukrainian City Service” LLC, and “Holosiiv Operation Organization” LLC.

“Having assumed all the fugitive’s affairs, Oleh Zakorchemnyi immediately founded the organization ‘Charitable Fund Peace Love Care’ (USREOU code 44676918). No mentions of this fund’s activities could be found online. However, as journalists write, it is well known that in Ukraine, charitable activities are often a cover for receiving ‘black cash’, which Zakorchemnyi is most likely doing for Kostrzhevskyi,” the article states.

According to the information, Oleh Zakorchemnyi was the head of “Doc Life” Medical Center LLC (USREOU code 44088676), whose ultimate beneficiary was also Denys Kostrzhevskyi. It is noted that Denys Kostrzhevskyi was once on the same electoral list as Viktor Medvedchuk, Nestor Shufrych, and Yuriy Boyko.
