Zelenskyy summed up the results of the Ukraine Recovery Conference

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that the Ukraine Recovery Conference, held in Rome on July 10-11, confirmed the high level of support for the Ukrainian state. The results of this event include, in particular, strengthening Ukraine’s air defense, additional investments in drone production, including interceptor drones, as well as increased pressure on Russia.

Such a statement was made by Zelenskyy on his official Telegram channel on July 12. According to him, the conference dedicated to recovery simultaneously became a platform for the defense of Ukraine, strengthening its army, and developing weapons production.

This event demonstrated a "high level of representation and a high level of support for Ukraine," wrote the head of state.

"There are important agreements both for our defence and for our recovery. First and foremost, air defense and the production of all types of drones, including interceptor drones. We are nearing agreements that will provide Ukraine with new air defense systems and missiles for them," is stated in the video released by Zelenskyy.

Additionally, there are positive signals from the U.S. regarding the provision of Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine.

In particular, Germany and Norway are ready to help purchase these systems.

A new agreement was also reached with the United Kingdom, thanks to which Ukraine will receive more than five thousand air defense missiles to combat strike drones.

"Every week, we add investments in weapons production in Ukraine. There are new partner solutions for this," the video states.

In Italy, there was also a meeting in the "Coalition of the Willing" format. One of the key issues was funding for Ukraine’s Defence Forces.

The meetings with representatives from the U.S. were "very productive".

"It’s important that support for Ukraine continues and that pressure on Russia becomes stronger. This is the key precondition for peace. Continuing the war must become truly painful for the aggressor. We are counting on strong sanctions measures," the video states.

Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to everyone who "helps protect lives and brings us closer to a just and lasting peace."
