The situation on the front: 38 combat clashes occurred, fighting continues in six directions

At this time, the total number of combat engagements on the front is 38, of which 15 are in the Pokrovsk direction.

This is reported in a report message by the General Staff regarding the situation on the front as of 4 PM on July 19.

Enemy shelling

Today, communities in the settlements of Yanzhulivka in the Chernihiv region; Sosnivka, Khliborob, Petrushivka, and Velyka Pysarivka in the Sumy region were affected by artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy.

Combat actions in the North

On the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, there were four enemy attacks today, one engagement is still ongoing. Enemy aviation conducted four strikes, dropping seven guided aerial bombs. In addition, the enemy carried out 130 artillery shellings on our troops’ positions and settlements.

Combat actions in Kharkiv Region

In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction today, the enemy attacked twice in the areas of the settlements of Lyptsi and Starytsia, engagements are ongoing.

In the Kupyansk direction, the attack of Russian occupiers in the area of Holubivka continues.

Combat actions in the East

In the Lyman direction today, the occupation army conducted seven attacks on the positions of Ukrainians in the areas of the settlements of Novyi Mir, Torske, and Serebrianka. Currently, two engagements continue.

In the Siversk direction, the enemy has not conducted active actions since the beginning of the day.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Defence Forces units repelled one enemy attack in the area of Chasovyi Yar.

In the Toretsk direction, our defenders repelled four enemy attempts to break through our defence in the areas of Diliivka and Toretsk, with one engagement ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, Russian occupiers made 15 attempts to displace our warriors from occupied positions in the areas of the settlements of Popiv Yar, Novoeconomychne, Myroliubivka, Lysivka, Udachne, Novosergiivka, Molodetske, Orikhove, Dachne, and towards Pokrovsk. The Defence Forces hold back the pressure and have already repelled 13 attacks. Enemy aviation carried out airstrikes on the settlements of Shakhove, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, and Bilytske.

In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped one attempt of the enemy forces’ assault in the area of the settlement of Shevchenko.

Situation in the South

In the Hulyaipole direction, the enemy has not conducted assault actions.

In the Orikhiv direction, there was one engagement near Kamyanske during the current day. In addition, the enemy carried out airstrikes on the settlements of Mala Tokmachka, Chervona Krynytsia, Novodanylivka, Plavni, and Prymorske.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy carried out airstrikes on the settlements of Tyahynka and Lvove, but did not conduct assault actions.
