Residents of Odesa joined the protests against the law that weakens the independence of NABU and SAPO

On the evening of July 22, a protest took place in Odesa against the law passed by the Verkhovna Rada, which significantly narrows the powers and effectively subordinates NABU and SAPO to the Prosecutor General.

Dozens of Odesans took to the streets, joining similar actions in Kyiv, Lviv, and Dnipro. Participants held banners with slogans against corruption and demanded the preservation of the independence of anti-corruption bodies.
