Zelenskyy: The Russian army does not have significant breakthroughs on the front

The head of state talked about this during a conversation with journalists on July 24.

«They are not advancing. It is very difficult for our fighters there. And it is difficult everywhere. And it is also very difficult for the "Russians" - which is good for us. And the "Russians" do not want to fight. Except for their leadership. And all this is felt. There are more of them. Greater pressure. Greater mobilization. Therefore, we have more risks. They are really trying to make a breakthrough. But they do not have any serious breakthroughs», Zelenskyy said.

In his opinion, the Russians are trying to compensate for the lack of significant breakthroughs on the front with military-information operations.

«What is the situation with Pokrovsk? How many times did the DRG enter? I am talking with the military, now with Syrsky. He says, during this time, 5-7 times. Two people, six people. There was one time when they tried to establish 12 people. They try to shoot some video: put up a flag, film it… and they are all destroyed by our defenders», the President said.
