In the Kherson region, large-scale embezzlement was uncovered: 9 suspects, damages exceeding 36 million

Prosecutors have notified nine individuals of suspicion who are involved in the embezzlement of budget funds allocated for restoration, medicine, education, and shelters.

Among the figures are directors of LLCs, city council officials, chief accountants, and contractors.

The largest amount was stolen during the renovation of the regional art museum — UAH 28.4 million.

The total amount of damages is UAH 36.2 million. All cases are under investigation, and motions to the court are being prepared.
