Zelenskyy hinted at disagreements with partners regarding negotiations with Russia

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in his evening address, stated that not all international partners equally assess the «opportunities and threats» related to potential negotiations with Russia.

«We continue our active negotiation work with partners to achieve a unified position for the sake of a reliable peace for Ukraine — a truly real peace. And if everyone perceives the opportunities and threats in the same way, then it will be possible to achieve a sustainable peace,» — said the head of state.

According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine currently has significant support from allies, especially under the circumstances where a deadline for Russia to cease fire has already been announced.

The president’s statement came against the backdrop of Bloomberg reports, according to which possible negotiations between Putin and Trump might discuss the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
