Dnipropetrovsk region under attack: Russian army struck Nikopol and Synelnykove districts

During the day on August 16, Russian troops shelled settlements in the Nikopol and Synelnykove districts of the Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in the destruction of infrastructure.

This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak.

Throughout the day, the Russian army shelled the Nikopol area using FPV drones and artillery. Nikopol, Marhanetska, Pokrovska, Chervonohryhorivska, and Myrivska communities were attacked.

As a result of the attacks, communal and agricultural enterprises, infrastructure, and vehicles were damaged. Four private houses caught fire.

In the Synelnykove district, the enemy attacked using a GAB and drones on the Mezhivska community. Fires broke out, destroying three private houses and a gas pipeline.

According to updated information, at night the aggressor struck the Novopavlivska community with UAVs. Infrastructure was damaged.

"Today, the body of a woman was retrieved from the rubble of a residential building in the Mezhivska community. She died due to a GAB strike carried out by the enemy on August 14. Condolences to family and friends," added the head of the Regional Military Administration.
